The Brain Injury Program at Texas Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Worth is designed to provide a structured, therapeutic program that is tailored to meet the medical and rehabilitative needs of each individual. Our facility offers a dedicated unit that is electronically secured and video monitored to provide our patients with the utmost care. The unit also has a low-stimulation gym to allow individuals to receive a 3 hours of therapy, 5 days a week with additional available weekend therapy.

Leisure activities help to motivate patients to achieve their goals.  Patients have the opportunity to participate in group or individual activities that focus on crafts, games, pet therapy, cooking, and painting.  Patients who may benefit from participation in activities include individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, or decreased social interaction with a goal to improve deficits such as spatial neglect, visual scanning, recognition of social and behavioral cues and communication opportunities.
